About

Gentlemanliness is an attribute that is dying amongst most modern men.

Gone are the days when a man cared about his dress and was impeccable in his application of good manners. We now seem to live in a world where men are happy to wear ill fitting off-the-peg suits, where polyester tracksuits are considered stylish and where good manners have long been forgotten.

But it not just a lack of gentlemanly style and manners that is the problem, a lot of men actually forgotten many important manly skills. The modern world makes it easy for men to be lazy and not appreciate the value of being able to do certain things by themselves. The availability of takeaway food and ready meals mean many young men don’t know how to cook substantial meals from scratch. The low cost of mass produced clothing means that many men don’t appreciate the value of well made, customised clothing that will last for years. Television and computer games have also caused a decline in the number of men who have read and appreciated classic literature and films.

Chap Talk aims to help reverse all this and help make men more like gentlemen again.

Chap Talk will discuss all that is gentlemanly and how you can apply it to your own life. It will teach you how to dress better, act better, learn manly skills and help you feel more confident in how you go about your life.
